JennaJenna grew up in Westhope, ND. She starting playing basketball in the third grade and volleyball in the sixth grade, and she was currently a starter on both varsity teams. She was a statistician for the Westhope-Newburg Sioux football team. She was also active in track and field where she was working hard to break the high jump record. When she wasn't playing sports, you could bet you would see her smiling face in the crowd cheering on her favorite team, the Westhope-Newburg Sioux. Jenna also looked forward to deer hunting season each year. She and her brothers always teased the one with the smallest trophy.

Besides sports, Jenna was very active in several organizations. She was the vice-president of the local FFA chapter. She was also a member of the student council, school annual staff and the paper staff. She was currently active with the Close-Up group that is raising money to go to Washington, D.C., in the spring of 2008. Jenna also taught Sunday school at the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Jenna was a rare teenager. She believed in being all you can be and living life to the fullest. She was the person to lift the spirits of all her friends whenever they needed it.

Jenna followed her heart and soul. Last summer she was a Mother's Helper in New York and she planned on going back again this coming July. Her summer was always planned around the two weeks that she and her friends would attend summer Bible camp at Camp Metigoshe. This summer she would have been a Counselor-In-Training.

Below is a slideshow that Jenna's best friend Kelsy made to celebrate her spirit.
